LAPSI RAVA UPMA / लपसी रवा उप्मा / லப்சி ரவா உப்மா

Lapsi Rava, being more healthier than Bombay Rava or Semolina, is extensively used nowadays. Lapsi Rava Upma is a very Easy Version of Upma. A quick-to-make and light-to-have recipe. I'm sure my readers are going to fall in love with this Upma! I have got an interesting note at the end of this post. Don't miss it!

  • (*) If you choose to substitute coconut oil instead of Desiccated Coconut/ Fresh-Grated Coconut, add it to the upma just before serving.
Now, after reading this post, you are going to get the recipe of Rice Upma as well. Rice Upma's ingredients list is the same as Lapsi Rava Upma. A slight change to be made : Just Substitute Idli Rava OR Ordinary Rice ground in a mixer. Rest all ingredients and measurements remain the same. Sooo simple, Right?

To make this recipe even more healthier, you can add vegetables too!

I didn't want to delay the post on Rice Upma just for the lack of a presentable photo. Soon as I capture its picture, I will feed it to this Blog as a fresh Recipe.

Though you have learnt to prepare this Upma, what shall be the best condiment for this? Wait for the next post to find the answer!

(In the picture, I have served Lapsi Rava Upma with Brinjal Sambhar)
